PROJECTS

AURA / Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen

INSTALLATION Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen 1F Lobby

A "light" installation that has a symbolic presence in the hotel lobby. Permanent artwork for the entrance of the Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen.

A group of small shining elements, consisting of approximately 3,400 elements, form a voluminous pillar of light.
With lattice-like layers inspired by growing "salt crystalline bodies",
The luminosity, which encompasses countless prisms, shifts according to the angle of view.

Transparent Flowers – Camellia –

INSTALLATION Mitera Sennyuji Temple

Camellias made of prisms are in full bloom on objects constructed with metal lines.
The contrast between the geometric and minimal stainless steel structure and the camellia flowers blooming quietly emerges in the dim space of the Buddhist temple, giving a quiet yet dignified appearance.

Prism Cloud

EXHIBITION ARTBAY TOKYO | Japan

A light and dynamic installation using polyhedron prisms.
Organic volume is formed along the 3D curved surface of honeycomb as though crystallizing the prism structures,
appearing as cloud-like objects of light.
Changes in sunlight and indoor lighting produce varying degrees of radiance and contrast at different times together
with seemingly infinite prismatic light.

Shibuya Hikarie Christmas 2019

EXHIBITION Shibuya Hikarie Sky Lobby | Japan

An installation based on this year’s Christmas theme at Shibuya Hikarie,“Illuminate Myself!”
Sitting in the “Light Chair” surrounded by decorative glittering prisms changes the lighting in this space.
The colors shift and change as both you and the prisms are covered in the vibrant hues of the sparkling lights.

AURA / CONRAD OSAKA

INSTALLATION CONRAD OSAKA / 40F Sky lobby | Japan

An installation of "light" comprised of 30,000 elements, radiating overwhelming presence. Luminous small elements evoke
"luminous clouds floating in space."
Its lucency which embraces countless prisms transforms in various ways with a day’s movement of sunlight, and countless rainbows that appear through the work dynamically fill the space.
